ONCE again I am shaking my head at the comments of Phil Gartside and his disappointment at the stay away fans.

I, like thousands of other Whites, am as the song goes "Born to be a Wanderer" and "Bolton 'til I die".

However there are many more with more sense and have possibly grown tired of the endless promises of money being made available to Sam to strengthen his squad when the reality is that the money is going elsewhere.

I appreciate BWFC is a business and must balance the books, but if people are not paying their money, this will never happen.

Perhaps Mr Gartside could try ringing for a ticket for match days or queuing at 12 windows with only one operator and then, once he is inside the ground, buy his programme at £2.50, a pint of beer at £2.30, and a pie at £1.80.

Assuming he attends the game on his own, and not like many who have those purchases times four. Unless BWFC address the cost of football, attendances will go down even further.

I challenge BWFC to speculate to accumulate i.e. have a massive reduction on admission prices for any forthcoming cup matches.
