WANDERERS only have themselves to blame for the low crowds as they're doing nothing to attract the casual or cash-strapped fan who would make up the numbers after season-ticket holders and away fans have been accounted for.

After the 40 per cent price hike last season, your money now only buys tickets for two games whereas previously it would have got you three.

Is it any surprise that the fan who can only afford to go to a few games a season -- and given the state of the economy, there's a lot of those - choose the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool rather than Charlton and Villa?

If Bolton want bigger crowds, the solution is simple: reduce prices.
