THE body of a 37-year-old cyclist has been found floating in the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The alarm was raised by a passer-by who saw the body last night in Halsall, near Ormskirk.
The rider's mountain bike was still on the towpath. Lancashire police are trying to establish how the man came to be in the water.
