MY next book "The Long Patrol" is due for publication by Mainstream Publishing of Edinburgh in the autumn of 2003.
It will reveal the hitherto untold story of the thousands of British Servicemen and women who served in Germany as part of the occupying armed forces between 1945-1990.
I would be pleased to hear from any readers who served in the forces in Germany between 1945-1990, at any rank -- from private to general. I am also keen to include the experiences of army wives -- and children -- who lived in and were educated on British bases in Germany.
Every story, each contribution, will be acknowledged. Your thoughts, your experiences and your memories of Germany, happy or otherwise, are all important to this neglected chapter of British history. Please send your recollections to the address below.
