IN order to stop further deterioration of our once-proud parks, Cllr Stuart Lever is suggesting bringing back park rangers.
The "parkie" of old was much prone to phrases like "ger off those flower beds or I'll leather ya!" This may be over the top, but I fully support the principle.
Bring back the park-keeper by all means -- and can I suggest Christine Hamilton to train them how to inter-act effectively with the public?
