BURY Horticultural Society will stage its first annual open show over two days this weekend.
And also for the first time , the event will be staged at a new building at the town's Walnut Avenue allotments.
The Society has established strong links with the Walnut Avenue Allotment Association, hence the decision to hold its show at its base on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday September 8.
The first annual open show will take place between 2pm and 5pm on the Saturday and between 10am and 3pm the following day.
Bury North MP David Chaytor will present the prizes to successful exhibitors on the Sunday.
