The money-spinning fixture against Manchester City last week has boosted funds to bring in Polish Under 21 international striker Pawel Abbott on a month's loan from Preston.
He will be joined at Gigg Lane by 23-year-old former Luton Town winger Liam George, who has signed a three-month contract.
