A HORSE stumbled and fell into a ditch, injuring the rider. Fire crews were called to a field at Lower Heaps Farm, Ringley Road West, Radcliffe, at 11.20am on Saturday.
The rider suffered a twisted ankle after the horse fell on her leg. She freed herself and fireman winched the horse to safety.
