THROUGHOUT August the Cornerhouse in Manchester will be celebrating TV and film made in and about the North in their season The North In Lights.
On Wednesday Manchester Comedy gets suitable acclaim with a selection of episodes from Steve Coogan's brilliant The Paul Calf Diary, The Ice Cream Man Cometh from That Peter Kay Thing and comedy with family values in The Royal Family (10.45pm).
