MOSES Gate Country Park now has 15 walk leaders fully trained to lead its successful health walks.
Their training was organised by Bolton Council's Countryside Service as part of the Countryside Agency and British Heart Foundation's Walking for Health Initiative which is part of a national initiative to increase the health and well-being of disadvantaged and sedentary people.
Walking can cut coronary heart disease, cut strokes, decrease hypertension, cut type II Diabetes and reduce obesity.
