CAMERAS from United's own TV station focused on Europe this week ahead of the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich writes Chris Sudlow

MUTV followed the action as the striker in the famous red shirt celebrated yet another goal with an outrageous double somersault.

He had scored five goals altogether and picked up the Man of the Tournament trophy against such prestige opposition as Real Madrid and Valencia.

But this was no Ruud van Nistelrooy taking the plaudits. It was the latest goal-scoring sensation from the United production line.

Fabien Brandy is his name, and remember it well, for he is a star for the future.

And what a long future it will be . . . as the new Ab Fab will not be gracing the first team for several years yet.

Brandy was among the budding stars in an unexpectedly entertaining Under 12s Soccer Sevens tournament in Barcelona given coverage by the United channel.

Real Madrid won the competition, as they are favourites to do when the seniors contest their own Euro kickabout ending at Hampden Park in May.

But let's hope young Brandy is on everybody's lips then also . . . and that he ages well, too!

Meanwhile, van Nistelrooy passed two more goalscoring milestones for the first team with his double for Manchester United in their 4-0 rout against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Van Nistelrooy became the first United player since Brian McClair 14 years ago to score 30 competitive goals in a season.

The Holland international is also only the third United player since George Best 34 years ago to score 20 league goals in a season.
