THE pressure is on three of Wigan Warriors' star men to deliver the goods against London Broncos tonight.

The performance of pivotal players Andy Farrell, Adrian Lam and new boy Julian O'Neill holds the key to the Super League's big spenders getting back to winning ways.

That is coach Stuart Raper's view as he admitted that although the season is still in its infancy, expectations at Wigan are high and time is against his players to produce their best.

"The performance of those three players is an important aspect of our attack but we don't have time for them to gel together," Raper said. "The fans expected and we expected to start off on a high and against Hull although it wasn't a great performance we did well and won by a convincing margin. It was easier in France but then we produced a below par performance against Bradford. You can't wait too long for those guys to click.

"We can use Farrell a lot better than we did against Bradford. Some of the things we tried didn't work as well as we would have liked. Julian O'Neill was the first to put his hand up to say he did not play well and we are working on putting that right."

Raper is confident his team will record their first Super League win at the Bronco's new Brentford home.

He added: "We have worked on a few specifics already and we will work on a few more. It is a matter of getting our performance better coming in to the London game. I think we will. The players know where they went wrong against Bradford but they were playing probably the best side in the competition at this stage."

They know they can't afford to have any slip-ups against any sides and I'm sure will learn from their mistakes.

"I don't think their confidence is dented; it would be different if it was an eight game losing run."

Prop Craig Smith is included in the squad and will be given a late fitness test on an ankle injury that kept him out of last week's clash with Bradford Bulls.

David Hodgson replaces the suspended Simon Haughton in the squad, otherwise the squad is identical to last week.
