COULD it be that the three wins at the start of the season has in the long run not helped Bolton's cause?
Of course we gained a vital nine points which is still keeping us with a good shout of Premiership survival.
But those nine points worked as a distraction for the first half of the season. There was a lack of focus.
Those three wins gave us a false position for a long period of time and could eventually prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.
