POLICE found Simon German drunk and hiding under a parked car when they returned to his ex-partner's home for the third time.

A court at Bury was told how officers first received a call around midday from Stephanie Guest to say that the 32-year-old was at her home. There had been an argument and she wanted him to leave.

German, from Dean Street, Radcliffe, was told to go and the magistrates heard that he did so.

But 90 minutes later, German was back, hanging around outside the house and so police were called and he was told to leave.

Just after 10pm German was back, but when the police arrived he ran off.

He was found very drunk and hiding underneath a parked car.

In court he admitted behaving in a manner whereby a breach of the peace was occasioned.

German was bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for one year.
