A VICIOUS fight in which two men attacked a third in a dispute over a girl was caught on CCTV cameras, a court was told.
Jonathan Mears and his friend Michael Ricketts held their heads in shame when the video was played back in court.
The tape showed the two men attack victim Christopher Gonzalez by kicking and punching him outside a Bury pub.
Mears, aged 19, of Hampson Mill Lane, Bury, and Ricketts, aged 24, of Spring Street in Bury, both admitted affray when they appeared at Bolton Crown Court.
But both men were given the maximum 240 hours' Community Punishment Order and ordered jointly to pay Gonzalez £1,000 in compensation. They were also ordered to pay £75 each towards court costs.
