AIRPORT fire chiefs met to discuss how they can improve safety.
Senior fire officers from 37 airports around the country discussed new legislation which aims to improve the way fire officers are trained.
The meeting took place at Manchester Airport's new £1 million South Fire Station which was built as part of the second runway development.
