Night out ended on a sour note
ON SATURDAY, March 2, I attended a concert at the Victoria Halls in aid of the Bolton Hospice 10th Anniversary.
After a most enjoyable evening I, along with a friend, walked to Bank Street where my car was parked near to the Boys' and Girls' Club only to be told there was a parking ticket on my windscreen (7.25pm). Now a number of cars had also got parking tickets, as we were all parking in a spot stating "loading only", but there were no signs to state you couldn't park there -- and who would be unloading at that time of night?
So be warned NOT to park in a "loading only" area, day or night. Bolton Council should get the proper signs up to let us know.
