A MAN accused of a racially aggravated offence involving police officers appeared before Bury magistrates.
Anjum Riaz, aged 20, of Louis Avenue, Bury, is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour during an incident last November.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and further matters of assaulting a police officer and failing to provide a breath specimen. He pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and insurance, as well as having no MOT. He was remanded on bail until March 12.
