COMMUNITY groups and organisations in Bolton are being invited to attend one of several briefings to find out how they can benefit from the Citizenship 21 Awards scheme.

The scheme, funded by the Community Fund (formerly the National Lottery Charities Board) and set up by Stonewall in response to the hate-motivated nailbomb attacks in London in 1999 that targeted black, Asian and gay communities, makes awards of up to £5,000 to projects that bring communities together to tackle prejudice and discrimination and to work for equality.
