THIS letter is regarding parking fees.
On Friday my husband and I went to Leigh, parked the car and paid 70p for three hours. There was no hassle with traffic wardens.
On Saturday we went into Bolton and paid £1.80 for two hours. We did not have any trouble with traffic wardens.
On Monday we went to Bury and paid £1 for three hours.
So why is it more to park in Bolton? Plus, you can't rest when you're shopping because you may get booked. In other places you have the comfort of knowing you are shopping and don't worry about getting booked for being over a white line.
