MOUNTAIN rescue workers received a cheque for £500 from Burnden Road Runners at their annual presentation meeting. Mike Thomason, fund raising officer at Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, said: "Every penny will go into the team and help local people who may have to call on our services." So far this year the team has been called out 25 times.
