TWO new CCTV cameras are set to be installed in the town centre.
The cameras, which will add to the extensive network already in the town, will be funded by Chorley Borough Council.
They will be placed on the Friday Street car park and Pall Mall once approval is given later this month.
The cameras are already in place on Market Street and town centre car parks. Police figures show that since their introduction town centre crime has reduced by 30 per cent.
