LOCAL boxing sensation Amir Khan has been chosen to represent England against Ireland on Friday in Ipswich.
Amir will be keen to maintain his unbeaten record when he wins his sixth England vest. The Bury Boxing Club member, in his fourth year at Smithills High School, has just returned from Denmark, where he won a unanimous points decision in his bout in the Hancock Box-Cup tournament.
