A SCHOOLBOY was taken to hospital last night after he was injured in a road accident in Farnworth.
Ryan O'Sullivan, aged 10, suffered minor head injuries after he was in collision with a car in Buckley Lane near its junction with Piggott Street. He was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital and allowed home after treatment.
Ryan, of Buckley Lane, was crossing the road at 6.50pm when he was in collision with a Metro driven by Mark Goodinson, aged 30, of Bolton Road, Farnworth.
