BOLTON Under 15s have been given a tough away draw at Trafford in the second round of the English Schools' Wizards Trophy.

The local youngsters were given a bye in the first round of the prestigious inter association knockout cup and Trafford also had an easy passage into the next round, also receiving a bye.

Bolton will have to tighten up in defence if they are to have any chance of making it into the third round.

The town team opened their season with a 6-1 reverse against Manchester in their opening Greater Manchester Schools' League and they followed that by going down 9-1 against Salford.

Bury Under 15s will also have to be at their best if they hope to make it into the third round.

They have been drawn against mighty Liverpool after both teams were given byes in the first round.

Bury have made significant improvements this season and they opened their Greater Manchester Schools' League programme with a couple of wins against Wigan and Tameside.

But they will find the Merseyside giants a completely different proposition.

Liverpool have won the national title on several occasions and they will be planning another long run in the national competition this time round.
