OPERATION Infinite Justice, against world-wide terrorism, has nothing to do with God.
How dare the Rev Michael Williams link the war against terrorism to God (Your Views: September 24). The terrorists say they are acting in the name of their God, but informed opinion says they are simply acting out of envy.
The USA and the rest of the real world will retaliate, not in the name of God, but because we wish to rid the world of cowardly terrorism. All sane people want to live in a world where life is not threatened and where we can enjoy freedom.
I have just returned from America and I was there on September 11. Never have I seen such a national outpouring of grief and sorrow. Never have I seen such fear. Never have I seen so many heroes. And never have I seen such a passionate desire to rid the world of terrorism.
This has little to do with God, Mr Williams, but a lot to do with justice.
