What has the Middle East conflict got to do with Muslims?
I can understand the Palestinians being angry at the way they were dispossessed of their land, and the Egyptians, Jordanians and the Syrians being angry at being thrashed by the Israelis in the Yom Kippur war, but it has nothing to do with Muslims.
In the aftermath of the atrocities witnessed in New York, humanity has failed. In turning the other cheek too much, Satanism has reared its ugly head, and human life has become a cheap commodity in terrorism.
Terrorism has no concept of morality, its very purpose is immoral in that it kills innocent people to instil fear and terror on a people for its own agenda, against the will of the people.
In this war against terrorism the poet must say: "tis war, and I demand that I am to blame."
Finally, appeasement to any form or terrorism is immoral.
