DON'T dump them, crump them - that is the message from Carl Gibbons, branch sales manager at the Bolton branch of national insurance providers Hill House Hammond who are appealing for people to donate used mobile phones.
Crump - the Campaign to Recycle Unwanted Mobile Phones - is a charity which looks after sick children abroad who have often been treated in appalling conditions. It is also involved in a project to develop standards for child-friendly healthcare practices in the UK.
