A MAN was banned from driving after being caught over the drink limit by police.
Paul McGinnis, aged 20, was seen driving along Bell Lane, Bury, without wearing his seatbelt.
Bury magistrates were told that when officers stopped him, they smelled alcohol on his breath and he was found to be almost twice the limit. He also had no driving licence or insurance.
McGinnis pleaded guilty and was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £100.
