Walshaw's Northern Veteran runner Charles Betts was in top form, taking the gold medal and setting a course record in the O/70 category in 51mins 55 secs in the recent 10km race at the Masons Arms, Radcliffe.
Other gold medal category winners were Sid Sacks O/60 (Salford Harriers) 40.18; Les Vaughan-Hodkinson O/65 (Wirral AC) 40.55; Geoff Perkins O/75 (Northern Veterans) 49.08; Les Heald O/80 (Northern Veterans) 74.55.
The race raised £236.80 for St Ann's Hospice.
