EDUCATIONAL awards are available for people from Blackrod under the age of 25.
Blackrod Educational Trust provides awards for any learning need not normally provided by the local education authority for any school serving the parish. The award also covers recreational, social and physical training not normally provided by the LEA for anyone from the village receiving primary, secondary or further education.
Applicants should include a stamped addressed envelope to receive an application form and write to: Secretary of the Trustees, 12 Nightingale Road, Blackrod, Bolton, BL6 5DX.
Completed forms should be returned by October 31.
