HORWICH New Heart Club holds its annual family fun walk on Sunday, September 9.
The popular trek around Rivington Pike had to be postponed from May because of foot and mouth restrictions.
The mile-long circular trek, which was set up 12 years ago, starts at Rivington Barn with walkers leaving between 1pm and 2pm. Trophies will be awarded to children, individuals, families and the teams which raise the most amount of cash for the appeal.
The New Heart Club has raised more than £100,000 to support the New Heart Start Appeal at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester since 1989.
