SORRY to have to raise the ongoing litter problem again, but despite assurances from our Executive Members for the Environment, it's actually getting worse.
What happened to the suggested warden scheme, and does anyone care about our handsome Town Hall Square any more?
Certainly not the many lunchers allowed on the Town Hall steps last sunny Thursday, leaving their waste in their wake. What is it with these folk? I'll tell you -- nothing that a few on-the-spot fines and prominent promises of punitive penalties wouldn't put right.
What about it, councillors?
Target the trashers for a change, instead of the parkers. You could do it, you know.
