TRADING standards officers have warned residents to cold shoulder the cold callers who do not supply cancellation rights.
A number of companies operating in Bolton and Blackburn have been offering agreements for services such as double glazing without a seven-day cooling off period.
A spokesman for Trading Standards said: "Insist on seeing the cancellation rights before you sign anything. If someone tries to sell you goods at home and won't give written cancellation rights, don't sign." Blackburn Trading Standards can be contacted on 01254 585904.
