A MAN has been charged after two schoolgirls claimed they were dragged into a flat and sexually assaulted.
He was cautioned by police after the girls, aged 14, said they were pounced on by a gang of five Afro-Caribbean men as they walked through Deane.
Two others were arrested and have been released on bail.
The teenagers from Bolton claim they were waiting for a bus on Deane Road at 10.45pm on Friday when they were approached by the gang.
They said they were pushed into a flat and taken to separate rooms, where they claim the assaults took place.
Det Chief Insp Dave Law said: "We are appealing for anyone who saw five Afro-Caribbean men with two young white girls on Friday to call."
