NEIGHBOURS saw a man receiving stolen diesel fuel which had been siphoned off from two parked lorries in a Farnworth street, a court was told.
The drivers had left their lorries parked near Campbell Court but when they returned they discovered fuel worth almost £300 had been stolen.
Neighbours saw Mark Park standing at his doorway receiving the stolen fuel.
Yesterday former drug user Park, aged 26, of Campbell Court, appeared at Bolton Crown Court for sentence on two charges of handling stolen goods.
Judge William Morris said he would give Park a chance to start a new life and agreed to a pre-sentence report suggestion that he be sentenced to 12 months Community Rehabilitation Order.
