AN expanding Bolton recruitment company has achieved the Investors in People standard. Bolton Wanderers assistant manager Phil Brown was on hand to help with the celebrations at Recruitment Zone Ltd.
The company, which specialises in all aspects of IT specific recruitment, was established in 1998 with three members of staff.
There are now 25 consultants and additional offices in Edinburgh and Bratislava in the Czech Republic.
The turnover is expected to reach £10 million this year.
Managing director David Bedford said: "As everyone knows, a business is only as good as its staff and I personally feel that we have some of the best people in the industry.
"Through Investors in People we now have systems in place which allow us to focus far more readily on areas of training that might be beneficial to individuals or the team.
"This also provides a plan and reporting mechanism that allows us to monitor the results on an ongoing basis.
"These procedures really do make a difference to the performance."
He added: "I would recommend other companies to give it a try and I think that they will see benefits to their business very quickly indeed."
