MOBILE hairdresser Margaret Walker will be able to get to customers in a flash after winning a new car on a Lottery scratchcard.
The 54-year-old took home a Vauxhall Astra SRi worth more than £15,000 when she revealed the number one prize.
Margaret, from Farnworth, bought three £1 Cars and Cash scratchcards from Highfield News last Saturday. She did not win anything on the first two and then got to her third ticket.
She said: "I scratched away and a black car was there. I grabbed my glasses to make sure."
She bought a Toyota Yaris a few weeks ago, and will now be handing this over to her daughter Lisa, aged 30.
Although this is the biggest prize Margaret has won yet, she has picked up some top prizes in the past. In June 1995, she won more than £2,500 when she matched five numbers on the National Lottery.
A few weeks ago she won £600 at the bingo. Margaret Walker celebrates her win Ref: J1370/22
