NEARLY one hundred residents of Hall i'th Wood are going to the seaside thanks to a £1,000 community grant.
The local Residents Association successfully applied for the grant from the SRB6 Community Fund to help with the cost of the five day holiday at Pontins in Southport.
The association organises the holiday and day trips throughout the year to help people have a break, for many their only break of the year.
The association has many fund-raising events throughout the year such as sales at the Charity Canopy in the town centre, to help with costs.
