EASTENDER Dirty Dan took a break from Albert Square to congratulate a woman on her dieting success.
Actor Craig Fairbrass handed an 'Outstanding Year of Success Award' to Lynda Nicholson, Weight Watchers Area Service Manager for Bolton.
Mrs Nicholson became a diet leader in 1983 after losing two-and-a-half stones.
The award recognised her efforts in helping thousands of people in the borough to lose weight.
She said: "I love being able to help people to lose weight as I know how I felt when I did it myself. It was nice to rub shoulders with the famous."
