Little Lever is to host a clean-up and mural painting project under the title of The Noise.
The project is being co-ordinated by PFJ Ministries in conjunction with the Churches of Little Lever and Bolton Council.
The project has also received the support of various businesses and community groups.
The event takes place from tomorrow until Monday. The murals are once again being designed by local artist Richard Smith and will be painted by local young people.
The painting of shutters and general planting and tidying will be carried out by volunteers from the community.
The weekend will also see the start of a roadside care scheme being operated by the Churches Together group in Little Lever.
Assemble at the Kings Centre on Market Street at 10am tomorrow, Sunday or Monday.
