TURNPIKE Gallery in Leigh is inviting the public to take part in a number of events as part of national Museums and Galleries Month.
Open House will welcome visitors to the centre with a live guide for the exhibition of paintings by Masakatsu Kondo.
Local artist Vikki Reynolds will also be on hand each Saturday morning to take visitors around the gallery and provide drop-in activities for children and their families.
On May 12 and 26, artists Emma Reynard and Sophie Zadeh will be making art works on the square in front of the library. Children and adults will be welcome to join in.
Also on display will be Year of the Artist projects by David Stanley and Grennan and Sperandio. Events are free.
