CONGRATULATIONS to Denise Morgan, the co-ordinator of the Bolton Busting Breast Cancer Appeal.
Denise has won a national award for her work, specifically for the pioneering breast cancer awareness project The Wall of Hope.
This was a whole wall of inspiring messages and photographs of breast cancer survivors, created in the Trafford Centre and to be repeated in Bolton with local women later this year.
The Appeal, backed by the BEN and receiving wholeheated support from the borough, has already revealed remarkable stories of bravery and fortitude.
Their amazing spirit is guaranteed to inspire fellow sufferers, and shame the rest of us over petty problems. Denise Morgan has proved an effective driving force, and we wish her -- and the rest of this remarkable campaign -- all the best.
