REGARDING the recent 'holocaust' of thousands of healthy animals, I would like to ask how many of these poor creatures were buried alive?

My deepest sympathy goes out to the small farmers whose anguish was obvious to see. Empty fields and barns.

This disease, however horrid, was not a killer, and all political parties made no objection as they were too busy slagging each other to gain points about racism, the great vote catcher.

This mass cull was carried out like a safari, after killer tigers, not innocent creatures.
