A MAN aged 41, accused of rape and indecent acts against a minor, has been committed by Rochdale magistrates to stand trial at the Crown Court.
Gary Stephen Gerrard Anderson, of Walmersley Road, Bury, faces one charge of raping a girl under the age of 16, seven charges of indecent assault, and four charges of gross indecency, all between 1989 and 1995 at Heywood.
Anderson, who was granted conditional bail, is due to appear at the Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester on May 18.
