BOLTON'S wealth of young musical talent takes centre stage next week with a four day extravaganza.
The annual showcase at the Albert Halls in the town centre, gives talented youngsters their opportunity to demonstrate just what they are capable of.
Each night features a different varied programme, running from Monday to Thursday, involving hundreds of the town's musicians.
The Bolton music Centre Presents has become a musical highlight in the year.
Each ensemble featured is from the music centre, based at Deane School.
Liz Forrest from the centre, explains: "This annual showcase is a wonderful opportunity for the town's young musicians to perform in a prestigious venue.
"The music throughout these concerts will reflect a wide variety of styles, composers and musical periods."
The Music Centre is home to a variety of award-winning groups -- full symphony orchestras, brass bands, concert bands, choirs, percussion ensembles.

The programme comprises: Monday -- Bolton Training Wind Ensembles, Bolton Training Percussion Ensemble, Guest Choir from Chalfont Primary School, Bolton Training Brass Band, Rivington and Turton Junior Strings Ensemble, Bolton Youth Double Reed Ensemble/Trio, Bolton Intermediate Percussion Ensemble, Bolton Youth Percussion Ensemble, and Bolton Youth Jazz Orchestra;
Tuesday -- Bolton Training String Orchestra, Guest Choir from St Peter's CE Primary School; Bolton Intermediate Brass Band, Bolton Youth Choir/Bolton Girls Choir, Bolton Junior Youth Orchestra, Bolton Youth Concert Band.
Wednesday -- Bolton Intermediate Wind Ensemble, Guest Choir from St John's RC Primary School, Bolton Beginner Recorder Ensemble, Bolton Youth Recorder Ensemble, Special Guest of percussionist Rob Turner, Bolton Youth Clarinet Choir, New Century Strings and Bolton Youth Brass Band;
