WE are writing on behalf of leading medical charity Action Research, as supporters of its 'Bring Your Bear Week', and we'd love it if Bolton Evening News readers could join us in taking their teddy bear to school or work.
We're sure there are thousands of bears across the UK who would love to take part and escape from their bedrooms.
Bring Your Bear Week runs between the June 18 and 25, and thousands of people across the UK will be holding fun and exciting events in their school or workplace and raising vital funds for medical research.
The charity's cuddly mascot, Paddington Bear, will also be busy taking part during Bring Your Bear Week.
Premature birth, meningitis, asthma, cerebral palsy, diabetes, and epilepsy are just some of the vital areas of research that Action Research is funding -- work that will touch the lives thousands of children and families across the UK.
Everyone has a favourite bear, and we urge you to join us in supporting the UK's biggest bear party.
