RESPONDING to Cllr Nick Peel's views on Brian Derbyshire's comments about De Lacy Drive, Tonge Moor. I know Brian well. He is a good, honest person and a proud grandfather.
His comments do make sense and sometimes I agree. Brian's comments have been misunderstood by Cllr Peel. Brian was only commenting on the people of De Lacy Drive and others in areas that have been let down by the local authority.
Brian Derbyshire would not bring down any person living in the Drive.
