DAY by day we hear about the slaughter and burning of infected and possibly infected animals.
Now healthy sheep are to be killed. The lambs that I mourn for have never seen the sunshine. However, 500 unwanted (not diseased) babies a day are slaughtered and burned in England and Wales. Can anyone tell me why?
