LITTLE Lever High School U16s footballers are going for double success next month when they compete in the finals of the Bolton Schools and County Cup competitions.
In the local event they beat Bolton School 4-0 with goals by Killeen (2), Worrall and Fern then Thornleigh 6-1 in the semi. Goals came from Killeen (3), Gibbons (2) and Worrall.
In the County Cup they defeated Standish High 6-1 with Killeen (2) Gibbons (2), Worrall and Fern hitting the target while in the semis they accounted for Bolton School again but only after a much tighter game 3-2 with Killeen(2) and Fern grabbing the goals.
